Carlisle 3 Piece Luggage Set

How sturdy are these wheels? Will they handle airport luggage handlers?
Well, there are no known wheels that can survive a dedicated airport luggage handler. They could tear apart a monster truck in seconds.

ha! they spelled “purple” wrong!

Actually, JCPenney does not sell them anymore. At least not in the store. They were all returned last month due to having a bad smell.

I got the pruple one. Not expecting it to last too long, but will have to do since my suitcase just saw it’s last trip.

Would the Shoulder Tote be considered a MAN PURSE??

Heck yeah, got mine in purple, definitely the best of the 3 colors.

I can’t find any reviews on this set. Does anyone know if it will hold up decently?

So for $30, I can assume these are just about as durable as the box they’ll be shipped in? When I travel the baggage folk take extra pride in beating the shit out of my luggage!

As far as luggage goes, I recommend the more uncommon/outrageous/ugly colors (purple or red/pink in this case) since less people have them (most have black, navy blue, dark brown, etc) and thus it’s easier to spot your bagges when you get off the plane.

Of course, if you and another wooter who also takes me advice should cross paths you will have no choice to but duel to the death in a winner-take-all-luggage battle royale.

Dude, they are $30. If they break after 1 trip they are still a good deal.

So Sellout is offering a camera… that doubles as luggage or something?

Or is Woot suggesting the Pentax is a better way to transport your clothes, since you can just take a photo of every garment you own and carry it on a memory card?

The camera is actually from yesterday. If you click the link to see that inner page itl show the real sellout woot item for today. It really “s-u-c-k-s”

Here’s at JC Penny for $ 80.00

That’s for the Woodbridge not the Carlisle.

I have these, great deal very good quality. Might have to get an extra set for a lot less than I paid elswhere for my first set.

Pruple! Pruple! Pruple!

It doesn’t get much better than that!
Hahaha they fixed it so now anyone who reads these posts will be totally confused

In for 1.

Great timing, as I was just looking for some new luggage for a trip I’m taking in August. I don’t travel much, and at this price they just have to survive the one trip and I’ll be happy.

And I ordered purple, so they’d be easy to spot.

hmmm… too many pieces for me!

I’m fairly certain that this is the luggage set my mom picked up from JC Penny a while back. From what I’ve seen, it’s fairly durable, and the family is not gentle on their luggage, taking business trips twice a month.

In for one pruple

They may only last one trip or less. The 1200 denier ripped after one trip through Seattle. The 600 denier may rip apart before take off.

Experience shows that the wheels will break off the way baggage handlers throw these bags. Check out how far the wheels protrude out.
