Case Logic 15W 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Stand

Case Logic 15W 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Stand

This just arrived and since it doesn’t seem to exist online anywhere else, here are my initial impressions. BLUF, for $25 it is functional and a much better value than many other 3-in-1 wireless chargers. I can see why these aren’t sold anywhere else though, as this product likely didn’t pass CaseMate’s quality standards.

-Mine came with a white 15W power brick to plug in the included black USB-A to USB-C cable into the wireless charger. The brick is about the size of a 30W MacBook brick. Not too larger but smaller options exist. The USB cable is a bit on the short side. Unless you have an outlet behind or close to your nightstand, you might need to source your own cable.
-MagSafe charging worked fine on an iPhone13 with a good magnetic hold and a rubberized ring to prevent scratching the phone.
-The watch charger portion flips up on the back and charged my AppleWatch8. The watch charger does NOT have a solid and secure feeling magnetic grip on my watch like an OEM charger though. It’s like they got the concave shape slightly wrong which lets the watch wiggle around. You can tell there is a magnet trying to keep it centered but your watch will wiggle if you bump it. Regardless, it continued to charge when I was wiggling the watch.
-Sorry I don’t have AirPods to test that functionality.
-The bottom has 360* lighting as shown on the picture. It appears to me that there are 3 options that cycle when pressing the single button on the unit. Rainbow cycling color, cool white, and light off. I couldn’t immediately figure out how to keep a single color, nor reduce the brightness. Maybe there is a way.
-Finally, my unit had a manufacturing flaw with the bottom that initially made the unit wobble like a chair with uneven legs. One of the screw holes in the plastic base had excess plastic protruding likely from when the hole was created. Very easy to fix however, by gently peeling back the corner of the rubber base pad adhered to the plastic, I was able to quickly remove the excess plastic with a box cutter. The rubber pad re-adhered no problem and all is well.

In conclusion, this will work for what I bought it for - as a gift to my pre-teen daughter to wirelessly charge her iPhone13mini and hand-me down AppleWatch3. Her room is filled with RGB lights so I’m sure she will love this. was pretty easy to repackage as well so it can be wrapped.

UPDATE Pried open the watch charger and flipped the magnet. Apple Watch charger now works great!

I received mine yesterday and tried it out. Very disappointed and agree with the lack of quality control. I bought this one because of the watch charger, but struggled to get my watch to sit correctly on the fold out charger. I woke up this morning to a watch with a dead battery.
What I have discovered is the magnet in the phone charger must be upside down and therefore doesn’t allow the watch to properly connect.
$25, no big deal, but disappointing.

You just confirmed what I suspected. I had trouble getting my watch to connect, and felt like it was fighting me to sit in the concavity. I also woke up to a dead watch, but I’ll pop it open and flip the magnet. Thanks!

Hey, how did you remove the watch charger? It is not prying open for me
