Title says Thunderbolt 4, features say’s Thunderbolt 3. Which is it?
It’s tb3 if it’s 20gbps, sooooo
From what I’ve seen Thunderbolt 3 and 4 have 40gb transfer speeds. Thunderbolt 2 has 20gb. This cord is better than Thunderbolt 2, but not a true Thunderbolt 4.
It’s either a USB4 or Thunderbolt 4. I don’t think it can be both.
Usb4 and thunderbolt 3 cover the same data transfer speeds; 20-40gbps, with the only difference being required Intel branding and coprocessor for thunderbolt, both requiring active cables to hit dual-direction 32+gbps and passive or longer-range cables to hit single-direction 20. Thunderbolt 4 requires support for dual-direction 40gbps along with the coprocessor, making for a much more reliable standard at an even more reliably high price.
