Has anyone bought one these and want to share what they got? Just curious.
I’d love to see too! I really like Clarins, but I’m worried about the makeup being really old.
DON’T BUY. I did and received today.
Aside from one item being broken (red lipliner), I attempted to find produced/expiry date with little success.
Only ONE product I confirmed a manufacture date of AUGUST 2018 (red lipstick on right in pic).
See my comments/pic above.
Also, curious how you find when a Clarins product was made or expires? From the little research I did, it seems Clarins does not have easily decoded batch numbers nor do they care to. ![]()
Sick, dude.
I don’t put anything older than 5 years on my face.

I got:
Eclat Minute Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in Juicy Mandarin
Eclat Minute Instant Light Lip Balm in Hot Pink
Joli Rouge Brillant in Joli Rouge
Crayon Kohl in Intense Brown
Mascara Top Coat Or in Gold Mascara Top Coat
Nothing is broken, dried up, or otherwise bad. Happy with the purchase!
Thank you for posting. It really helps.
Complain to Woot, they will refund you, from my experience, for broken/expired/unuseable product. I ordered this & the other current grab bag because while I got crummy product in a previous makeup grab bag order, I got great customer service, and was willing to gamble on the Woot company, if not the questionable facial products.
Got this set as well (slightly different shade selection of same products). Also all in useable condition - given the stabilizers used in modern cosmetics, if it’s unused product that passes the consistency and smell test, I’m ok using it per my skincare needs and regimen and tossing it out per the day I start using it rather than the best by date. Frankly, for most dry cosmetics (eyeshadow, blush, etc) not much changes over time if it’s unused. It only starts to get gross when you inevitably transfer something from your own skin onto it. Waxy things like lipstick are the same, assuming they were stored well, though they may change consistency unpleasantly quickly depending on quality, etc. And truly sealed liquids in bottles are fine - give it a good shake before you first crack it and it’s all set.
Keep your face, applicators and hands clean when you use your products and don’t share product and they go even longer. Always sniff before putting anything near your face and if it’s off, don’t risk it. Read for individual allergens and be aware of regulatory changes that change what can be in things.

Eeew then! Lol
That’s a definite no from me!
Thank you for the tips. ![]()
Long time customer here - and why I didn’t mind the risk in buying mystery bag makeup. I knew if anything came broke, etc. Customer service would be nothing short of accommodating and stellar.
I feel like this is just generally useful life advice, unless one works with toxic chemicals…
We were looking at this Mystery Bag to get some small “Thank you” gifts for someone’s nurses.
Your inputs have been very helpful.
I got the exact same items.
Too many lip products and no shadows or blushes.
