I just threw this exact set away. While the blades did hold a good edge, they are not full tang blades and they WILL break after a short time and sooner if applying force. And I’m not talking about excessive force, but regular stuff that any decent kitchen knives should be able to handle. I would absolutely not recommend this knife set, even for the price. Spend the extra money on a good set that will last longer than these.

I believe this should be listed as 6 piece with stand. Only six knives in the set.

I know, but if I offer a “Classic 7-Piece Nonstick Cutlery Knife Set w/ Stand” I should be getting seven knives and a stand.

Quality is pretty terrible. The knives stay sharp but the blades separate from the handle before too long. I really liked the santoku knife but the blade fell out of the handle writhin a couple of months. I spoke to cuisinart and they said they’d replace it but I had to pay for shipping. It was like $16 for shipping so I didn’t even bother. I don’t recommend buying this set. Go to Walmart and spend $70 and you’ll prob get better quality.

Odd, I never have problems with things I am cutting sticking to the knives. Seems like a solution looking for a problem.
