Giving this a try. I’ve seen and used these in hotels and the flat surface allows a more thorough cleaning with disinfecting wipes (if you know what I mean!). My current tv’s remote requires about a dozen button pushes to activate the timer so I hope this dedicated button works as intended.
Edit/Update: The box says “No setup required for Samsung, LG and *RCA TVs” and the asterisk specifies RCA Healthcare and Hospitality TVs only, implying retail RCA TVs would require setup steps. After completing the simple, provided steps to program this for a Vizio TV, it didn’t work very well for me. The Power button and Volume buttons (including Mute) worked but nothing else worked including the Sleep timer. The channel buttons might have worked if I had set the TV to the antenna source but I live where antenna reception is poor so I watch TV via a mini cable box. Also, after resetting the remote back to factory settings, it worked as intended with a Samsung TV (in antenna mode) including the Sleep button but certain button presses also activated a remote-controlled fan sitting at the opposite side of the room. BTW & FWIW, printing on the back cover says it’s not for home use (maybe to prevent theft from hotels?).
