Collapsible Drinkable Straw: Your Choice

Collapsible Drinkable Straw: Your Choice

Shouldn’t this be a “drinking” straw? Not that the straw is drinkable?

Who doesn’t want to drink their straw?

Well, it sounds like it’d be a mess but then you’d also have no straw to drink it with. LIke do you have to use the straw quickly before it deteriorates into a drinkable puddle?

Us old timers remember the paper straws, you had to drink fast, before they got wet and were useless, also would collapse if you tried to drink a thick shake

You will also have to get one of these, to drink this straw.

Old timers??
They are trying to bring those back NOW, as a more environmentally safe option - yuck!

I had a milkshake at a restaurant the other day and they gave me a big paper straw and it worked fine. I have to wonder, though, if it was completely paper. It didn’t tear and get soggy like the old ones did.

If they can make a paper that doesn’t get soggy, that would be great!
The few I have had so far got yucky before the end of the meal…

I used a straw once that was made from something natural, though I can’t remember what it was. I think it was pasta, but that doesn’t seem right because it was at a coffee shop and it doesn’t seem like pasta would work well for hot drinks. Whatever it was, it worked well. There are alternatives out there that use plants, etc. I hope they become more readily available.
