Why can this not be shipped to California from the Woot app, but if I add it to my cart from Amazon, it CAN be shipped to California?
Some states require that the seller haul away the old mattress. Since we’re unable to offer that service, we can’t sell to your state.
Thats weird, what if there is none to haul away?
Our system isn’t set up to ask that question. 
I’m puzzled how this is offered with “Fulfilled by Amazon” over here at Woot, yet over at Amazon for B00LJ7CUU6, there’s no option to purchase the exact same item from Amazon or from any other retailer with FBA.
In fact, there’s not even any buy box at all, and it’s been that way a few days ago when I checked, too, back when this item initially went on sale at Woot last week.
Any idea why? Ideally, you’d probably want your mattress to be a fresh stock, and not something that was found in an abandoned warehouse or anything of the sort.

California Mattress Haul Away: For new mattress products sold by Amazon.com and shipped to customers in California, Amazon offers customers the option to have their corresponding used mattress products picked up for recovery, at no additional cost. The mattress is subject to inspection prior to removal for any contaminates which could lead to an extra charge or inability to remove mattress.
Wait a second, when I was buying a Linenspa mattress a few years ago back on Walmart, there were a bunch of reviews (don’t remember the site) of people receiving mattresses with bugs. If California requires the delivery provider to haul back the old mattress next to all the new inventory for all the other customers… Now it finally makes sense!
