In all seriousness, my mom did want to “live” on my fireplace mantel after she passed. I find this too creepy, so she’s agreed to be buried in the garden instead, as she is an avid gardener. But it will be the flower garden, NOT the veggie garden.
If you ever move will you take her with you? Or that’s a surprise for the next person to plant a rose bush?
She’ll become one with the dirt, so I guess I’ll actually be spreading her ashes, not burying them.
The bearded dragon I buried in a shoe box about 6-10" deep because my yard soil is as hard as a rock will be a surprise for anyone putting in new irrigation pipes.
People are just dying to get into these!
