Soooo. Does this make this frozen loveliness from simple household ingredients, or is there an evil commercial blend that you must buy, and be locked into a life of financial leverage to maintain the incredible sweetness. Asking for a friend.

I was wondering the same thing and did a little looking. Amazon carries mixes but they’re for convenience, not required. You can use your own ingredients and the machine comes with recipes.
After watching a couple of videos, I’m not sure this is significantly different from other ice cream makers in terms of basic function; it churns the ice cream base in a frozen bowl. My current machine does the same thing and the fresh product is soft. It hardens when stored and it seems like the product from this machine would do the same.
Looks incredible. It comes out smooth and cold and delicious. I especially appreciate the way it contains the endorsement from Weight Watchers, Planet Fitness, and the Oprah Book Club. I’ve been holding out for Woot to offer the Diabetes Limited Edition, but I figured it’s now or never.
