Good job woot, not including the one number (watt hours) that matters, in the spec sheet. /eyeroll
Woot only posts what is provided to them. Most UPS manufacturers state the battery capacity in Volt Amps (VA) not Watt Hours (WH).
Here’s the info from the manufacturer.
Nowhere do they provide the Wh capacity.
I couldn’t just leave it there.
In the specs:
Runtime at Full Load - 7.4 min
Runtime at Half Load - 20 min
Assuming “full load” is 900W
7.4 minutes is 0.123h
20 minutes is 0.33h
900w * 0.123h = 110.7Wh (approx)
450w * 0.33h = 148.5Wh (approx)
This is due to how lead acid batteries and inverters behave under different loads and I believe is part of the reason UPS manufacturers state capacities in VA and not WH. Someone smarter than me could probably explain it better.
