I know the product already states this, but for emphasis:
DON’T USE THIS ON CATS!!
Permethrin is neurotoxic for cats. I used to work in a feline-only veterinary hospital, & some of the most tragic cases we had were related to permethrin. Many would come in for a seizure that would not end & unfortunately had to be euthanized. 
Always read the whole label & do your due diligence re: research.
