Same problem here. Received the order yesterday, and both PC and monitor are different spec. Items received: OptiPlex 5050, E2216H (monitor) instead. I have just emailed Woot CS and is waiting on reply. 10 days wait and a disappointment ![]()
Got my replacement today. STILL WRONG. I didn’t even bother turning it on the check the processor, the hard drive is still a standard SSD and NOT the M.2 that was advertised. Shameful.
It isn’t that hard to install windows 11 on an unsupported machine. It won’t get updates but that’s no worse off than windows 10 after October 2025.
Just received my replacement, and is still wrong item. This time, they threw in the cheap Lenovo monitor instead of the Dell one stated in the order. Gonna ask for a refund. Worst Woot purchase ever.
@ThunderThighs, if you really are a CSR, you need to step in and help. This is the worst online transaction I’ve ever been engaged in. The seller misrepresented the item and shipped an inferior product. I asked for it to be replaced with the correct item and was issued an RMA number but no shipping label. The seller then shipped a replacement, which was also inferior, and I received an RMA for the second item BEFORE I EVEN RECEIVED IT! This time with a label. I’ve sent multiple emails asking for help straightening this out but no one there seems to be paying attention.
Nope. She’s forum moderator, not customer support. She does have a poking stick, though.
(Note that I am not staff. I just volunteer to help out on the forums.)
As noted above, I’m not customer service. I’ll ask CS to send the label though.
