the processor is nearly worth as much as the whole pc XD

Not really, it’s a i5 2400 almost 6 generations old, you can buy it new for $129 or refurbish for $88.

You can buy a 7th gen 7400 for $189.99 New that will perform 30% better and a 30% lower TDP.

I am not knocking on the product, this computer is a good deal!

Edit: Prices of the CPUs/Punctuation

I’m not sure where you’re shopping to get those prices…

i5 2400 refurb
i5 2400 OEM
i5 7400 New

Am I correct to assume that on the $279 version with both a HDD and SSD, the SSD is the boot drive?

but they might have been lazy and imaged all the computers the same SSD or not.
You can always install windows on the SSD and reformat the HDD. (if you have your own windows licence or have an OEM Windows install disk)

They should probably update the specs. Says no USB 3.0 ports but looking at the pics I see at least 2 “ss” ports on the front.

*"We used these at work and they have a ton of USB 3.0 ports.

I think at least 2 in the front and 4 in the back."*

I am 100% wrong they do not have USB 3.0 according to the Tech Guide I am thinking of a different model.

Looks like they used the wrong image. On this image there is no model number.

Woot, please clarify: Do these come with USB 3 ports? And the picture shows a DVD-RW optical drive, yet the description says “DVD-ROM”. Do these come with DVD burners? I’d be very interested if the answer is “yes” to both questions.

Warranty says 1yr Metro…

Link to MBS they say go ‘directly’ to MFG?

So who actually does the service?
Who do you call with problem?
