Work has these computers for basic chrome browsing and server access. They actually aren’t bad computers if you use the right OS. By not bad, I mean you’ll need to wait 20 seconds to open an application, and you can’t have a lot of tabs open at the same time.

Is this a good replacement for a raspberry pi?

A strong “maybe” on that. It has 8GB eMMC storage and 2GB RAM. I’m using a similar-speced system for a print server for an older, non-AirPrint capable printer.

Yeah wondering the same as I am looking to set up klipper for my 3d printer and this is a better price than getting a 2gb rpi with shipping/SD/power supply.

In case you don’t want to run your own Pihole but keep the power of a custom DNS, consider nextdns.io. For $20/year you get customizable DNS with scheduling, allow/deny lists, logs, etc. I’ve been using it for years on all my devices, including my router. Blocks ads on most everything, even on smart TVs.
