Wow… everyone over in the Derby thread are all picking real obvious movies. Sad, actually. There are so many B-movies to choose from!
Just look at the bad Sci-Fi movies MST3k ripped on over the years, they’d be ripe for a shirt!

not feeling really inspired by the derby topic. i don’t like movie themes for the regular contest, either. contests entries based on movies are ok, but i don’t like being forced into it.

One of my designs for tomorrow needed a wood grain fill and I found this tutorial for inkscape that I could not believe how easy it was. You should check it out for any possible “wood” designs in the future.
Wife suggested this and helped with the ideas, so I’ll be submitting this under her name. Comments? Should I color the sketches or leave them as is?

I dunno… it seems incidental to me. After all, it’s a minimum of text to get the point across. It’s not a slogan shirt. I couldn’t figure out another way to make sure that they’re months. Of course, my wife wanted Jan, Feb, etc, which I thought would be too much.
Still don’t know whether I’ll color them in… maybe I’ll sleep on it.

I just want you to know I support B movies - mostly those involving kung-fu and large monster bugs.
Whoa, I totally forgot that it was new-Theme Thursday. Shows how much I’ve disconnected from the derbies since school started.
This sounds like a really great theme. Lyrics Illustrated is probably the theme I missed that I most would have wanted to do. Unfortunately, I’m pretty out of it right now (HOMEWORK ZOMBIE) and still have several unfinished assignments awaiting my attention. Also, no movie immediately comes to mind. I look forward to seeing the entries though!
I’d like to see a take on Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, but the movie title seems so specific I’m not sure what you could do with it.
