There are so many things wrong with the listing for this off-brand āComupterā from the title to the description that Iām not going to waste my time going over everything. I think the most egregious thing is putting the term āgamingā anywhere near this. Honestly itās pretty shameful that this listing even went up.
Also, I cannot find any information on the Celeron N5805. It doesnāt seem to exist. The N5095 which the listing claims to ābeat by 30%ā is an abysmal processor.
Buyer beware.
Yeah, I saw the words āCeleronā and āGamingā and just had to click. Not because Iād consider buying one⦠just out of morbid curiosity.
(I think itās supposed to be an N5105?)
Iām excited about this POWERHOUSE of a laptop.
Will this play Elden Rings?
I figured that after 3.5 years, youād have a device for that.

Reviews donāt even match the listing. First thing is, does this keyboard include the number pad? Thatās visible in the pics. All items in the reviews do not include the number pad. Also, no warranty over 90 days? Because they couldnāt find something in the warehouse? I started to nip at this one but thankfully did my due diligence and Iāll pass.
Iāve been waiting for the right machine, the right bargain, and I think I found it!
Will this do AI?
Weāre all here out of morbid curiosity ![]()
Intel has been known to dump years-old lowish-end CPUs to the China market for various reasons. Maybe theyāre held for the embedded market and once EOL nears (or orders are dropping off) they just dump those old CPUs (possibly flashing them to the final model#/#core/speed), or just holding excess last-year inventory so they donāt compete with current stuff (a few years ago, a number of no-name recently built (not old stock) laptops with circa-2015 Core i3-5005U laptops just started appearing in China, I still see them sometimes on AliExpress). Gemini Lake and Jasper Lake (2018-2021) Celerons NUC mini PCs and laptop still pop up with regularity. I even see a version of this laptop on Alibaba with a Celeron N5805 and a claimed GeForce MX350.
Celeron 5805 could sound like an Ice Lake CPU circa 2019-2020, below the Pentium 6805 and 10th gen Core i3-100x, though those are 15W and not likely seen in a no-name slim laptop.
First mention of this 5805 in China I can find dates back to October 2023: čµę¬N5805ęä¹ę ·ļ¼_ē¾åŗ¦ē„é
A screenshot (pic 7/7) on Douyin of a DERE laptop shows (translated) CPU String āIntel Celeron 5805 @ 1.00GHz dual coreā (note no āNā before 5805, and most Apollo/Gemini/Jasper Lake have base frequent at 1.10 GHz): https://v.douyin.com/dX0xsB4_hZk/

This is the Woot linked Amazon item.
The stated model no. (V14 AIR) is a 14" laptop with different specs, not the listed and pictured 16" laptop with number pad. The attached Amazon reviews and customer photos are also for the 14" laptop without a number pad. These two 14"/16" laptops share an Amazon product page.
Available from the mothership:
ASIN B0D4M58X2J

Good luck gaming with this abomination. Maybe itāll run Microsoft Solitaireā¦if youāre lucky.
Update: Intelās āMystery Meatā CPU appears to be Ice Lake

If performance is similar to the Pentium 6805, it will be faster than Jasper Lake and may approach Alder Lake-N. It will depend on actual turbo frequency, whether hyperthreading is enabled or not, and thermal performance/throttling (if it has a fan).
Oh no!!! No Elden Rings for me!!
Man, there are going to be some disappointed grandkids this Christmasā¦
