I own this saw, but with the roller stand, which I find much more convenient in my garage shop. It’s a solid saw and I’d give it 5 stars.
However, you can get this saw with roller stand today for about $20 less than this – and also at your local Lowe’s, where you would have the advantage of their customer support AND being able to pick it up today.
This is a great saw. However I’d recommend buying it with the rolling stand through Lowe’s as dtapley pointed out, or via the Amazon mothership for $20 LESS.

The 10 inch saw is getting hard to find but the scissor stand is around $60 and rolling stand for $140…
This saw tool only used to be $299 around the Holidays (sometimes with free scissor stand)
I shopped around, compared prices, etc. for about a year before finally deciding to get this one. I never saw it advertised for less than $500. I suspect what you saw for sale at that price was a different model DeWalt, probably the DW745.
I will look, but the saw I carry in my truck was a special buy 299 saw and stand… and can rip 4x8 in half
