I’m sure this would sell out if it were the brushless model

Note that this is the older DeWalt with brushes. The newer brushless model has longer battery life and better power control.
But this is a good deal if you’re only needing to use this drill occasionally.

The included batteries are cost more than $80 just for the batteries with no charger. I do not need this as I already have a full dewalt set. But as I see it, you are getting two batteries at a discounted price with a free drill and charger. Not a bad deal IMO…

I don’t really need this but God I’m tempted at that price, just for the batteries and charger.

I wouldn’t buy these for the batteries. These are 1.3 amp hour batteries. In any high demand application, these will not last long. For example, in my Dewalt circular saw, these last about 7 inches of cut through 3/8 chip board. I usually only reach for my 4 Ah or 5 Ah batteries for pretty much any Dewalt cordless tool. A 5 Ah battery on that same circular saw will last through 30-40 ft of cutting through 3/4 inch maple plywood. There is a reason these are on Woot.

These batteries are good for the listed Drill Driver and many other similar Dewalt tools. Agree circular saws are much higher demand and need more power to last very long.

Yup and the brushless one was on the mothership a month or two ago for $89.

Thank you. I didn’t notice they were only 1.3. I was assuming 4.0. Not worth it at all for me then.

Suppose you can talk yourselves out of just about anything, but as a finish carpenter these 1.3a batteries will last me all day with an oscillating tool. I purchased the limit and would buy more if allowed.

The VR model, that comes with two 2.0 aH batteries, is selling for $100 more currently on Amazon™️

Received yesterday DOA. Returned today.

The battery? Make sure you give it a good long charge for the first charge.

I wish Dewalt would offer a 20V drill without a clutch. I’ve actually stopped buying these because of the clutch feature. Something inside fails and the chuck no longer spins.

Full day charge… Li’l work light comes on but nothing else…
