You can get Apple Air Tags for cheaper and better connectivity. These brag that they have a blue light thats easily identifiable…I dont want thieves seeing little blue lights drawing attention to my tags. Good idea, dumb execution.
I feel these are more intended for ownership tracking on a jobsite versus say full-on “I’m taking these”. If there are a bunch of different trades working at once, the chances of accidentally grabbing someone else’s tools exists. It’s the high-tech “answer” versus engraving the company’s name on the tools.
