They had the DCS391B circular saw for $84.99 back around September 2, 2022 (and possibly after but I happened to buy one then). The “pointless price” is $149.99, motherships is selling it for $99.99 right now on a “limited time” deal. It’s not as rugged / full featured as the DCS565B (No dust chute, no LED lead light, 565 is brushless 391 is brushed motor, etc.) but it is sufficient for infrequent use. By comparison the “pointless price” on this (565B) model is $219 and the “everyday street price” on the mother ship is $149. So at $113.99 you aren’t going to get a better deal anywhere unless you go to a “refurbished” item.
I got (tried to get) one of these the last time around, (July 2023) but they shipped an earlier model (556, and possibly refurbished) that was an inferior predecessor to the 565, so I sent it back for a refund. I’m in for one of these again this time around and just hoping I actually get what they are advertising. I like that it has a connector that I can hook up to a dust collector / vacuum system, and the LED forward light will come in handy as well.
Same thing happened to me. Going to try again and hope I get the right model this time
