I was a recipient of one of the Woot giveaways (a Dell computer monitor). This was several years ago. What are the odds of me winning another giveaway? I keep trying.

Also, when you win a sweepstakes, it’s considered gambling winnings, and you’re required to file immediately. I’ve heard that game shows know this and typically give you the paperwork or file for you right away. Other groups, though? If they wait until January to send you papers, and you file with the normal April deadline, you owe the IRS a late penalty.

I had a thread where these things were discussed, but certain peoples who shall remain nameless ruined it, just like they do everything else. So… no politics for us.

I know Woot steals money out of my wallet on a weekly, and sometimes a daily basis, but Woot giving away stuff weekly is news to me. I know about the monthly giveaways.

Nope, didn’t notice, and I’m here quite a bit.
The only ones I tend to notice are the ones that make the top of the boards that get pinned–which seem to be more bi-monthly than weekly.
Then again, your android app hasn’t been working quite for a while. It’s incapable of minimizing to switch windows - it just blinks when you hit the square on the lower right side. The only way to make it smaller is to diminish everything by hitting the circle on the bottom middle, which minimizes everything currently running in the operating system. Then, I can select the square I mentioned earlier to get the actual window I want.
I’ve tried deleting and redownloading the app - didn’t work.
I’m annoyed.
Not upset enough to stop coming completely, but I come less.
So, maybe I’m just missing them.
