What is expiration for redemption of codes?
How long does it take to get the codes?
Did you get a refund?
We’re doing some research with the vendor to figure out what happened here. But don’t worry, we’ll either refund you for the 3 codes that didn’t work for whatever reason or get you 3 new codes that do work. Hold tight, we should have something for you later today or early tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience.
One of my codes was marked as already having been redeemed as well. I submitted an email requesting assistance. I’d recommend everybody who purchased these codes to make sure they are valid.
Bought four three month codes, all four codes worked thank the Lord.
Thanks Woot.
I wish the best of luck to ppl who had their codes malfunction.
Are the codes instant or do they ship cards to you? Only ask because it says $6 shipping
The codes are electronically delivered to you via email, 1-3 business days after your purchase. There’s no shipping charge for this purchase since it’s all virtual.
An email from Woot CS should be on its way to you. Please keep an eye out for it. Sorry again for this inconvenience, were still ironing out the kinks in this process, if you couldn’t tell . Based on the research the vendor was able to do, this appears to have been a very isolated incident.
It still shows one of mine “preparing for shipment”… It took me a minute to figure out the tracking number was the code in the notification email. It is not obvious in the email body… Hope this helps somebody else.
Received the email, but every code sent in the email has been redeemed. Please refund the money as this vendor appears to be a scam. Thanks.
I purchased on Monday and it’s now Wednesday night. I don’t have a code (or tracking number) that I can find in the email, and it’s still “preparing for shipment”. Is that normal?
Any word on how long it takes to investigate? I sent an email to support yesterday about a code marked as already redeemed but haven’t heard back yet.
TacticalDan,
This appears to have possibly been my fault.
I got an email around 1 PM Eastern yesterday while i was on break with codes in it. In my suprise I tried them pretty much immediately. Most of them worked. It wasnt until after i tried them that i got a follow-up email saying they were sent to me as a mistake, and i didnt see that email until today. I feel terrible about this, i already sent an email to woot to see if anything could be done. The vendor probably isnt a scam, everything i have got so far is fine, it was just a mistake.
Ooooohhhhh man. That was definitely a mistake on our part. We totally sent the replacement codes to the wrong person
@TacticalDan To ensure we don’t screw up again, we’ve entered a normal replacement order for your 5 codes in our system right now. You should get the codes in the next 24-48 hours. We’ve sold thousands of these codes and only seen a handful of issues. So it’s definitely not a scam. You were sadly just one of the handful of customers that were impacted by a small data glitch on the vendor’s end when they were sending out the 2nd batch of codes a couple of days ago.
Bought 2 codes. Got confirmation next day. Both codes worked fine
I’m glad this was able to be rectified. Its interesting that I was able to figure out who was the intended recipient of the codes i was sent just by looking here lol.
I am receiving a “try that again. Something happened on our end. Waiting a bit might help.” When I go to redeem on Microsoft. Anyone else having this issue? Does it mean the codes have been redeemed?
I don’t think so? The others got very specific messages for that. You might try again later. Also make sure you’re looking carefully at 0 vs O, etc.
hey Woot!, good news - the four codes I bought all worked, no issues.
Thank you!
