We just got the Kid-o-bunk set and have used it for two nights with grand children. It is about as long as a queen is wide. It fit right at the end of the queen bed in the guest room. The 6y.o. and the 8 y.o. fought over putting it together. That is a kid friendly feature as well. I didn’t have to do anything. We got the aquamarine color. The fabric is tough and the structure seems solid. We haven’t tried camping with it, using it only inside so far. It is not a flimsy piece.
I’ve had mine since December '17 and we use it more than we would any other cot type bed. It’s so sturdy that we we’re not afraid for the kids to play on it which I guarantee they will want to do, even just around the house. Every Friday night we have family movie night and the kids like to sleep in mom and dad’s room so we set these up for them.
They’re also great for vacation when you need an extra bed or two when visiting family or the hotel room. The only potential issue with camping is that they are not light so you wouldn’t want to carry them for miles.
I definitely recommend them.
