Hi there. These are being obtained from Amazon inventory so we don’t have a lot of information. Here it is on Amazon. There may be more information there.

Oh my gosh she is quirky as hell, but that is amazing. However I would never have the patience to do something like that without losing my mind.

She is definitely a character, but then again, talented people usually are. :man_shrugging:

You and me both, brother!

I don’t know who she is, but I think she is awesome

Any idea what William the 2nd is and what kind of saw she is using with the attached vacuum?

In which video?

It’s been a while since I’ve seen those two. I’ll have to watch again and see. Same one as the saw or no?

Thanks! Looks like their brand doesn’t have dust covers. Usually it’s integrated into the design :frowning: it’s not fun cleaning dust from tiny crevices.

In the first video, she is using a saw to cut and it has a vacuum hose to suck up the wood shavings as she cuts

Are you talking about this?

That’s cued up at what I think you mean. That’s a hot wire foam cutter and that hose is sucking fumes. I have a handheld version and all the parts to build one like hers, but… :man_shrugging: “Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow” :cowboy_hat_face:

If that’s not t he tool, let me know a time stamp.

It says it does in the instructions

Oh, that is very cool - totally understand the need for the fume ventilation, burning Styrofoam is nasty

I need an easy to use table saw, something to cut 2*4 with and luxury vinyl. I have so many things I need to do, but haven’t been able to figure out a good fit.

While I am asking questions, I want to. replace my thermostat and I cannot seem to sort through all the specs.

Any suggestions for either, both? I normally can figure out these things myself, but I am so overwhelmed with all the things I need to do, I can’t concentrate on the details.

Ah… she names her tools :cowboy_hat_face: William is her laser engraver/cutter.

Apparently, that seems to be a common trait among us crazy people. :man_shrugging: Taryl names his tools, too. I’ve been naming mine for years. I have Ernie (the orange drill), Pinky (Elevyn’s impact), Big Bird (the 1/2" impact), Percy (the little sledge hammer), Peter (the big sledge hammer - Gabriel, get it?), Purple Panda (my impact), Big Daddy (my favorite hammer)… Hell, I even have googly eyes glued to a smaller hammer :cowboy_hat_face: When I saw Taryl doing the EXACT same thing, I thought, well… I may be crazy, but at least I’m in good company :man_shrugging:

What kind of vinyl are we talking about? Budget?

As for the thermometer… are you looking for fancy-shmancy or simple old-school?
