If this gate is like the others and has a bar at the bottom that you have to step over when passing through the gate, I would not recommend it. It is dangerous. Especially if used at the top of the stairs. The bar is 2 inches high and is a tripping hazard. I took all of ours down after the last accident.
This one is wall mounted so there’s no bar to trip over.
