Can you explain a bit? Do you mean these batteries leak while being charged? While being used? How long before they start leaking?

If you remove the charger and divide total cost by number of batteries, this is only a so-so cost per battery. I generally buy them in 18 or 24 packs to get a better price per battery. But if you need a charger….
you know the solar lights that people get for their yards. the way those work, is they have rechargeable AA or AAA batteries in them. At some point those batteries stop working. they are out in the weather and not the best rechargeable to begin with.
i have bought these and my wife has replaced all the batteries in our outside solar light and they seem to work better than ever.
how long will they last, I don’t know.
I’ve had this charger for about 4 yrs & agree it does well for Duracell & generic Amazon basics.
Now I need one for 9 volt.

I seem to have too many things with battery that sit for too long. When I finally get around to it (like this thread, lol) using the device, dead batteries, and a mess. Most of the time when I remove Duracell, too late. Already leaked and the K carbonate all over. Yes, my bad for non-use and I have no personal data for you so to be more clear, IMO the Duracell seem more frequently the culprit. That, and usually overpriced to many other options (IMO). Duracell may be designed more for the energy energy density user. Using re-chargeables mostly sometimes alkaline when I don’t use the device as much.
Panasonic Eneloops haven’t given me any problems. They have a real good reputation. I used energizers before but Eneloops definitely beat them out.
These Duracells should be good as well. Its a big brand after all.
Most big battery companies should work good, but there’s always a chance of getting bad equipment.
