Can this run a full size fridge and upright freezer?
Just wait until they start selling the electric version of this. ![]()
3300 running watts should be able to power that comfortably–Even if you had them both running at the same time, you would have power to spare. I suspect that those two together will peak out at 1500-2000 watts.
You can buy a wheel kit for it for $50

I should not even be awake
“Super quiet muffler” and “69 decibels” should never be in the same sentence.
I have run my house with a full size fridge and chest freezer on an 1600W/2000W surge inverter unit. So yes. If this was 240V it would likely even run my well pump.
The two “downs” of this is that it will be fairly noisy. It is a constant engine speed (3600rpm) unit It will consume more fuel than a variable speed inverter unit.
But if you have no power and it is HOT or COLD outside some electricity is better than none.
HTH.
Oh, and you will need some gasoline stored to power it when you need it. Rotate that. DRAIN the carb after use.
Logged in to tell you how much I liked this! Make sure to use lithium-ion batteries!
Yes, no problemo. These items have a very low continuous demand for electricity.
I’ve used this exact model to run 2 full-sized refrigerators and some fans, lights, chargers, etc. Runs like a champ.
Generates lots of comments.
Anyone have any linkage for a propane conversion? TIA!
Try MOTORSNORKEL.COM for propane conversions.
They have several kits and are very good as well as very easy to work with.
FYI -
Using morotsnorKLE takes you to the WRONG website !!!
Be sure to use motorsnorKEL
The company is now part of U.S. Carburetion.
Hope this helps
This is an open-frame generator, don’t buy this for camping or RV use, it is too noisy. Your neighbors will hate you. It might be useful for a contractor or an emergency when the power goes out, but that’s about it. There are plenty of quieter generators with Eco settings available on sale for only a little bit more. My 2 cents.
Is this generator an Inverter?
This is an open frame generator. It does not have an inverter built in. Fine for running your furnace and lights and such and older appliances. (I’d be leery of running fancy new appliances without power conditioning).
Great deal if you are running power tools or home with pure sine UPSes on your sensitive electronics and aren’t worried about your neighbors hearing it and stabbing you or stealing it.
Previous sale’s discussion, for reference.
Found a conversion kit for this model on fleaby, https://www.ebay.com/itm/Propane-Natural-Gas-Generator-Conversion-DuroStar-DS4000S-Alternative-LP-7hp-/174609818764?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
