I’ll start off by reassuring you I do not woot! I do order from them on occasion when I see something that’s a steal. I bought one of these vans probably a your ago or so. Technology on it is really impressive. Both air cleaner as well as fan. NOT the old fashioned kind of fan that always “says” that you have some sort of air circulation or air conditioning problem which can be a little embarrassing if your friends came over. It’s a fan you can actually leave out I mean for real no joke it’s a great addition to just about anyone’s furniture. DYSON really did put a lot of thought into design. I would’ve never spent the money that it cost to get a Dyson EVER! Do you remember every time I hosted a party at my house or had some friends over I got compliments on it and they all wanted to stick their arms through the middle Lol. It’s very easy to clean as the dirt buildup on the inside of the ring that would normally be the ring around blades. Very quiet not to mention factory reconditioned by Dyson! They stand by their warranty on returns! Similar to Apple. They refurbished products always have the same warranty as their new computers FYI! Provided that APPLE refurbishes IT. Enjoy the fan you will love it! That Dyson… should have designed cloths OR cars too !! Imagine that…

This would make for a really interesting bong… whole house high? Hook it up to an oil diffuser using THC oil…

Bought one last go 'round and was expecting it, as per many of the reviews, to at least be beat up and scarred. No such bad luck. Ours came out of the box with one well-hidden scratch and otherwise like new.

And I may be jinxing myself here, but we’ve had it for months now and it runs like a top - as you’d expect from new.

It’s relatively quiet (the ONLY real reason I bought it), works well and looks cool. My only beef is that it’s not as air-forceful as I’d like it, and necessitates cranking up to 8-10 to really get air moving briskly.

Otherwise, aces.

I think they are confused. This one is not a filter, but Dyson does make filter fans such as the “Dyson TP04”. There is a filter in the bottom section. They are a lot more expensive than just the fans.

What do you mean no blades? What is in the base propelling the air? I’ve got a $15 fan from Amazon that does the job quite well.

When you compare the CFM of these fans vs typical blade fans…well there’s little comparison. As you’ve noted here, just about any cheapo fan can outperform this dyson…if you buy a good fan it’s going to blow this thing away, pun intended.
