for this one Ill take the shot of it having a few scuffs. the refurb AM09 woot sold me was in very good condition. nothing I couldnt touch up

I bought a refurbished AM06 (the short, non-pedestal version) on Woot a few years ago and it’s still going strong with every day use. It puts out a ton of air, and it is much quieter than most fans in terms of air flow to noise ratio.

At the highest settings the noise level is comparable to a box fan, but it puts out more air than the one that I have.

This is my 2nd refurbished dyson fan I’m purchasing. I love this fan, especially if you have kids you never have to worry about them sticking their fingers inside. This price is incredible

Mine arrived today. I expected maybe a couple scratches or dings being as it is refurbished. It looks as if it was used for a year very roughly and put in a box and sold again. Big gouge in the halo part and the base is pretty scratched up. Not at all what I expected. I have bought refurb things before from various manufacturers and at least they try to replace the really bad looking parts. I feel as if no effort was made in this case.

I got mine today. More scuffs then expected. Im taping what i need to then hitting with some glossy krylon

I got mine today. The base and the ring are in good condition. Unfortunately there is NO middle part to hold the base and the ring together. (I believe it called "Loop amplifier) There are missing parts. This is the first time buying electronic refurbished from woot. Oh My! I am so lucky. :cry:

Just got a response from woot customer service. I think it is pretty quick response within 6 hrs since I sent them a message. They gave me 2 options. $15 partial refund if I want to keep it or return for a full refund. It arrived defective and I’m frustrated so I don’t want it anymore.

This is exactly how I received my order as well. I was so looking forward to using it, but w/o that piece the fan is completely useless. I’ve ordered other Dyson fans from Woot in the past, and this is the first time I’ve had one arrive with pieces missing. Boohoo!
