UP TO 6 minutes use and only a 6-month warranty? At THAT price? Outrageous!!!
What kind of battery?
30 minutes in normal mode. I bought a v8 Dyson refurb and it works great. Thinking of trying the V7. As long as it’s from Dyson Direct.
It is!
This doesn’t seem like a very good deal when you can purchase a new one for $20 more and get the full 2-year warranty. I am missing something? Maybe I need more coffee. Here’s a link to the new one sold by Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/d/Upright-Vacuum-Cleaners/Dyson-Motorhead-Cordless-Cleaner-Fuchsia/B01MSZ036Q
The pictures are of the Dyson Animal, which is more expensive and seems to have more features. Which actual vacuum is this? The specs/description aren’t specific enough. I’m guessing it’s actually the basic Motorhead and that they posted it with the wrong images. Annoying.
I got the V9 animal one at Costco for $300 and it’s really amazing. I have done more vacuuming in the past month than I would do all year. Really is a game changer I just hope the battery lasts as propriatary rechargeable batteries scares me.
6 minutes using the power head.
Hello all! To answer questions. This is a V7 Motörhead. It has the colors of the Animal but does not come with the tangle-free turbine tool. That’s the only difference between the regular Motörhead and an Animal Motörhead.
And our photos are correct. THANK YOU!
From a reply on Amazon.com regarding difference between V7 Motorhead and Animal. Which is correct, I do not know.
What is a difference between motorhead and animal model?
Answer:
The Motorhead does not include a washable hepa filter and a motorized upholstery head and mini soft dusting brush like comes with the V7 Animal.

Can anyone say what difference there is between this one and the linked one in Fuscia?
No experience with this model, but…Bought the V6 version on here in November. Runs great. My wife will not stop talking about it, every time she uses it. We rarely use it on max setting, so battery never an issue. The supplied wall charger is , of course, a wonderful design, that holds the vacuum and charges it, all with one click, so we have never run out of juice. Also, since its so easy to get out and use, you vacuum more, so less buildup, thus less need to use max setting. Looks like a good price as well.
Does it have the washable HEPA filter?
