New to Woot and ordered a few things. Given that this is an Amazon company and that I have had great experiences with Amazon, I did not hesitate. One of the items I received was refurbished. Not only was it pretty beat up, but it did not function properly.
This is fine, BUT, there is not “Return” button on the website that leads to a mailing label. I had to email Woot through a Webtool. I received no acknowledgement that I submitted a return request and I did it twice.
I will be very skeptical going forward about ordering something from Woot, specifically for the lack of ease returning a product. I still have heard nothing from Woot about my return.

From a browser, use the Woot! Customer Service form.
In the Woot! App, choose Account from the bottom navigation and then Support.
Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.
Please give Customer Service 48 hours to respond.
Items with batteries must be provided a shipping label by Customer Service.

Thanks, yes I submitted the form twice. 48 Hours for a response is disappointing. Returns are pretty much automated from every quality online vendor. I am guessing this convoluted email process is by design to make it difficult to return. As I said, I will avoid Woot for this reason going forward.
People (yes, real human beings) answer every CS inquiry. Give them time to process your request. Batteries are, by law, required to ship with a special label.

How do you know my item in question has a battery?
Because you couldn’t do the automated self return.

As @pepper114 noted, items with batteries require special labeling that can only be sent out by our CS team.
Also note that the return labels will come from UPS, not Woot.
Ahhh! So there is an automated return facility. Thank you, that alleviates a lot of my disappointment. That said, when I return something with a battery to Amazon, it prints the battery badge as well.

Wooter you fell into the same customer service washing machine here. Same track, something was ordered from Amazon. Need to return it. Can’t get hold of anyone for help. Sending emails here through Amazon and I get back that they are sorry for the delay but they are working on it.
This has been going on for most of August. If this is really a reputable company they would have accounts with major shipping and freight carriers and be able to send a return label within 24 hours. Amazon spits out a UPS shipping label for their returns at the click of a button. Not sure whats taking weeks here.
You ordered from Woot, or Amazon?
Because in many cases, Woot has an automated returns option through the account.

Hi there. I don’t see any orders on the account you’re posting from. If you have another Woot account, make sure you’re contacting us through that account.
It was ordered through amazon.
So how is Woot involved?
Even if they’re the seller on Amazon, you’d still be able to do a regular Amazon return.

So was it an item sold by woot? If so, reach out to support@woot.com. Make sure you include the Amazon order number.

Did all that. Keep getting a canned message back that they are sorry for the delay but are working on it.

A scam since 2004? Trying to help you here but you gotta meet half way.
All you need to do is send me a return shipping label. takes minutes… why do I get emails back from your customer service that says they are still working on it. Its been weeks. How long does it take to print a label
