Keep in mind that if you run this at its maximum 2400W output, you’ll get about 45 minutes or so on a fully-charged battery - I wouldn’t run more than about 600W worth of stuff on this myself, which would give about 3 hours run time.
I was thinking I’d like to get one of these in the 5kWh to 10 kWh range, until I saw this was 55 pounds for the 1.8kWh that it offers. A 5kWh version would probably be about 150 pounds and would have to be on wheels like a portable generator, which wouldn’t be convenient to carry around the house during a power outage..
(Lithium Ferrophosphate or LFP batteries are the heaviest of the Lithium-Ion batteries, but also the most fire-resistant.)
These are designed to run a fan, tv, maybe a refrigerator for a few hours, charge up your phone and devices, and that’s about it. You can also take them camping, tailgating, to the beach, etc and run or charge your devices
The units in the 7-10kw range are designed to run a whole house and not be portable.
