It’s a little odd that this TV was a black Friday special for $199 and it’s $269 here now. Hell, my local Walmart has it for $89 to get rid of it. https://www.walmart.com/ip/ELEMENT-55-Class-4K-2160P-UHD-Smart-LED-TV-E4SW5518/878092672

I will say that I have no idea if it’s actually there, since I do not shop at Walmart.

Edit- the MSRP for the 55 inch was $349.

I have this TV. Bought it on Black Friday…2017 I think.
Anyways…I have 2 main issues with it.

  1. the HDMI inputs will randomly go black…sound still comes out, but picture is gone. It is a known problem of this model and there is no fix. Kind of annoying when you’re gaming and everything goes black.
  2. The blacks on this tv get a little pixelated at times.

I like the TV for its apps and for the fact it has a built in TV guide for OTA TV.

Notice: Reading any of the 3 and less star reviews (About 43% of reviews) from the linked Amazon Reviews make me want to run from this, but I’m intrigued by the price still. It might be worth the gamble, but idk.

As far as price history on Amazon, this is a good deal. Even better than the prime day price.
I’m tempted to get it to give it a spin at this price.
I mean it does have the Woot 1 year limited warranty (Woot will also send positive vibes out to the cosmos on behalf of the purchaser, providing purchaser does not harsh our mellow.)

It has some input lag, so gaming will be subpar, but I’m trying to type myself into it.

And… I just typed myself out of it.
BrandSmart has it for $249.88. (And is in stock)

That’s $20 cheaper, I can get an extended warranty on it and pick it up the same day not worrying about shipping carriers damaging it.

I would have no shipping as it’s a brick and mortar store within an hour or two of me.
I guess I could add $20 for gas.
Oh, it’s " Estimated Shipping $49.88" for me if I didn’t want to pick it up, so shipped you would be a better price for prime members from my region.
