I thought this would be a good idea to use on long distance car trips. It comfortably fit b/t my thighs and I would do a number of reps every 15 minutes or so. A main concern when inactive is blood stasis which is a risk factor for thromboembolism. Besides this thigh exercise Iād do ankle circles, as well as flexing and extending the ankle. No pulmonary embolism or CVA yet on those epic car trips! YMMV
