Ember Temperature Control Mug 2, 10oz & 14oz

See my note above.

I have two of these from Woot! and love them so much.

Just to be clear here:
This is a MUG that requires TECH SUPPORT. If there is ever a more ridiculous concept, I’m not sure what it would be.

How long do people let a cup sit? I don’t drink my coffee fast, but a regular coffee cup can keep it warm for at least 30 min. It isn’t a whole pot on a stove… :woman_shrugging:t3:

Working from home, I get pulled into all kinds of distractions all morning. This doesn’t just keep coffee warm, it keeps it at a specific temperature. I forget the maximum, but it can be HOT.

I set myself up one morning all ready to work, coffee at the ready, until realizing I’d left my laptop in the office .

After a 45 min round trip to grab said laptop, my coffee was at the exact same 140° I’d left it at. No change to temp, taste, nothing. It was as though it hadnt been but one minute that passed.

Not giftable unless you don’t care about presentation. I bought one of these last year for a birthday gift and it came in a damaged boxed that was - torn, stained, black marks. There was no way it was presentable as a gift, so I kept it for myself and bought a different gift. Thinking that was a fluke, I ordered another this year. Same story. You will get this in a dirty and damaged box. I will not buy these on here again.

'Refurbished" my hind parts. It arrived with a damaged, taped over exterior packaging, the interior packaging was damaged, and the mug was obviously dirty with dried creamer/milk in it. “Merry Christmas honey”, not.

Yeah, that’s not great.

Make sure you contact customer service. They’ll have some options for you. Here’s the blurb.

Please reach out to Woot! Customer Service. To speed things up, let them know if you prefer a return/refund or a replacement (if possible).

Note: Woot! Customer Service replies go to the email address on your Woot! account, not your Amazon login email if used/different.

(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)

Same actually - for the stainless steel. Also had looked like dried coffee on the bottom. That I don’t care that much, I’m hand washing it anyways.

The bigger problem is that it seems that it’s the old model! The original mug, not the mug2!

The cup has FCC ID 2AILTCM17. Looking it up on the FCC’s site, you can see it has a final action date of 2017, confirming it’s the mug1. Mug2 I believe should have FCC ID 2AILTCM21 (from 2021), or perhaps 2AILTCM19 (also 2021).

Inside of my Mug 2 (14 oz) is flaking off. Not sure how many of those black chips I’ve consumed (yikes). Who should I contact for replacement?

Hello. Here’s the warranty info from the features:
