The last time these were on sale, I ordered two of the 6 packs. They sent me two bulbs. Picture shows six bulbs to the set. They never understood this said 6 packs. If I ordered 2 of the 6 packs, I should have received 12 bulbs. I guess they use common core math. I ever looked at the same product on Amazon and it shows 6 bulbs for $27.99. I spoke with customer server about this. I tried to order this again. Same results. I gave up. Did anyone else have this experience. Since then I have been hesitant to purchase anything else. Very frustrating. There was a real disconnect with the shipping department. I will not buy these bulbs because of this. Great price for a great product, if you got the six pack. But they thought it was for one bulb. Normally I always was happy with my purchases with Woot.

I have ordered these bulbs both from Woot! and Amazon and have ALWAYS received the 6 pack. Great lightbulb, still waiting to see how long they last. The ones in my bathroom are going on one year plus. Previous compact fluorescent bulbs never lasted that long for me. Going to get more as my goal is to replace all my bulbs with led. Don’t need a dimmable bulb so this is a great deal for me.
Hard to believe Woot customer service didn’t rectify your problem. They have always done so for me if I had an issue with an order.
I ordered a six pack and received one bulb. I emailed CS and they acknowleged the problem and sent me the corrected amount. The bulbs themselves are pretty good, nice light color and no flicker. They are kind of narrow, think flood light instead of bulb. Over all I am pleased using them in the bathroom over the sink.
For me, 3000k is a little too close to a cfl/fluorescent in color. 2700k is the same as an incandescent bulb which you can buy them in LED at Home Depot in a 3 pack for $10.

There’s something seriously wrong with your power, or the way you’re using them if you’re going through CFLs in a year or less. I’ve had many CFLs for years, and only replaced maybe 3 (one was dropped and caused a minor HAZMAT issue that was economically handled by sweeping it under the rug). I’ve never had one last less than 3 years (except the one that was dropped) and I was moving a lot back then, so they were removed and installed constantly into different fixtures.

MTBF (mean time between failures) for CFLs is MUCH LESS than published when used in damp locations. A bathroom is a damp location (think steam); a powder room is not. I have had 3 CFLs with wonky (read: expensive) bases fail in 3-4 months over my sink in the bathroom that is used most regularly. This parent poster is not having issues with her power; it’s well documented that heat and humidity, as well as short run times, can decrease the lifespan of CFLs.

This may be a good deal, but you can get a similar bulb at Lowes (albeit a Utilitech) for $11.88 for a 6-pack…
With that said, I prefer 2700k even though they are calling 3000k soft white…

I came here to post this. I picked up two packs (12 bulbs) yesterday (60W & 40W equ) for $24 at Lowe’s. They’re non-dimable like these and look strikingly similar. If you are going to buy a 3K bulb might as well save yourself some money.
Good grief, I can get nearly the same thing at Walmart for $2.44 each. 40 or 60 watt. Lowes and Home Depot both have similar deals for about $2.50/bulb.
I’ve already changed out many bulbs in my house with the walmart or lowes bulbs and have been very happy with them.
This “deal”? No thanks.

Every now and then, one of the warehouses will decide that we really meant to break up those sets. Sorry for the poor experience. Make sure to let our CS know when you have issues so we can correct them.
Check your local Home Depot and Lowes. 60 watt equivalent LEDs are on sale there all the times. Cheaper and easier to return if you get a bad one. Woot needs to offer better deals. If these were 100 Watt equivalent bulbs then this would be a good deal.
