Kicking myself for not picking this up. Banked on getting a power bank during scav hunt today (pun intended) but wasn’t able to. This was a really good deal considering the specs and features and I hope for a restock soon, as it seems to hit the site fairly often.
My dream is to have a LiFePO4 1KW power station with a sub-10ms switchover time for UPS purposes, but those are over $500 and not exactly an impulse purchase. But power is getting more unstable here, and if there’s a big outage one day, I want to have something that can recharge our phones a few times because the lead-acid desktop UPS units bottom out too fast.
UPS units are primarily designed to keep a computer running long enough to safely shutdown and not to be able to keep running while there’s an outage. One of the 1500w UPS at work here just has a pair of 12V, 8Ah SLA – we’re talking a maximum capacity of 192 watt hours.
With that said, if it’s primarily just phones, why not just get a couple beefier power banks?
Yup, I know. I have two 1500PFCLCDs here powering my stuff. Lots of power sags in the NE now. If it goes down, at least the router should stay up for a while.

If I’m gonna lay out cash for a purchase, I’d rather have this power station for $20 more. Three times the capacity and it can also do AC output.
