Since this sits flush with the exterior wall, are you supposed to have the duct extending through and beyond the wall? If so, how far should it stick out from the wall? Does the duct need to be tapered to fit into this vent?
So I’ll need the “extension accessory” to go through the wall? Is it tapered so that a semi-flexible duct will fit over it on the inside?
Am I reading correctly that according to that link, the MSRP is $24.95, not Woot’s claimed $34.99?
Answering my own question, on the Heartland website, shipping is north of $20.
I have one of these. My microwave oven vents through the wall to the exterior, and with the original flap vent it would ice up inside the microwave on cold winter days. This vent seals much better and solved the problem. Recommended.
