Does anyone know how deep the shallow section, in the middle, is? Thanks, J

I’m going to guess it is only a 0.25" or less differences between the outside compartment.
The whole thing is only 2" tall, which probably includes a bit of a lip on the bottom. I would say it’s at least 1.5" deep in the middle.
