Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition - Xbox One

Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition - Xbox One

These were originally very rare and hard to find. However, MSRP was never $299.
A nicely made collector piece with rugged plastic case. The “pip-boy” arm thing is quite bulky and uncomfortable (but matches the size of the one in the game), and you have to put in your own phone (of certain size) to get some functionality with an app. They later actually sold a Pip-boy with integrated bluetooth electronics, buttons, display.

Of course the game is only worth a few $$ now so reason to get this is the collectors stuff. Also does not include the “Season Pass” code.

I’ve got the PIp Boy, bought it for 30$ from someone who had buyer’s regret about the 200$ one. It’ll hold a phone about the size of a Galaxy S5, without a case. The app was actually useful in the game, as well, you could see stats and the map and so on, it had the functionality of the game’s own Pip Boy. Saved some switching back and forth. I used it on a tablet, though.

The wristband is kind of cool, but not something you’d probably want to wear for a long time. It’s padded inside, has a velcro strap to hold it to your arm, and clamps shut like the real one, but that’s more or less where it ends. It has a couple of small LED lights powered by a CR2032 battery that have no function but to light up. I wore it to work one day for laughs. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, that about matches my experience. I put it on but didn’t actually use it in-game with a phone. It is all fairly well-made stuff, though, not like some of the very cheap trinkets they sometimes toss in to “collector’s editions.”
If I didn’t already have this (actually, more than one; I bought for XBox and PS4), I would definitely buy at this price just for the fun artifacts.

I got this bundle when Woot had the $1 deal, but unfortunately it was moved Amazon inventory, which ended up meaning that somebody took the game when they bought it from Amazon, and returned it for a refund.

Know anybody who is looking for the accessories from this bundle?

I would strongly advise woot to change this from “new” to at least “open box”. The one I got for the WTF deal was NOT new. I did get the game disc and fallout 3 code unlike some others, however.

For collectibles like this, the “new” part is critical to the value and price one is willing to pay.

It’s completely possible that this listing is for new bundles though.

I would bet it’s from the same source as the last ones that were listed as new.

Seeing this is insanely infuriating. They “sold out” and “wouldn’t produce” any more ever back when FO4 came out a few years back. now they magically have them available right now for the public to buy and not on trader’s forums and such? This seems very suspect for Bethesda to be doing. They can’t make money off FO76, so they’re revisiting their older games’ bonus material to try to make some money. So lame.

Thanks, I needed that laugh.
