How much would it cost to build this into a complete system? Processor, RAM, HD, DVD±RW…? Looks like graphics and sound are already built in.

MY BEST BUY HAS 30 PEOPLE IN LINE ALREADY.
AND THE STORE ONLY HAS 25 LAPTOPS.
just some quick specs - its a Toshiba, Centrino M 1.4 ghz, 15" screen, 256mb ram, 40gb hd, DVD/CD-RW
From some other stuff i have read on other laptops in the same series - i think this one may have higher end harman kardon speakers on it

damn lol - oh well - i want a dvd player as well - the laptop is only a bonus - and for the record - its a minimum of 25 laptops per store - not exactly 25
Dat best buy laptop has the new Celeron-M processor in it.
THe first good Celeron since the 333 desktop chip.

Using newegg.com as a guide for the CPU and choosing the lowest P4 I saw, and using crucial.com for memory and assuming an HD for $50 (see BlackFriday.anywhere) I figure about $450 when it is all said an done
