I question whether these are “plastic free” as claimed. They have two ingredients, “SN65” and “ST01 dispersant”, for which I cannot locate any information (and the company’s website does not exactly create confidence that the representations on the box are accurate). Most or all laundry sheets contain PVAs, which is a plastic used to bind the sheet together.
PSA: Fisroa customer support unresponsive to ingredient inquiries
I purchased Fisroa laundry detergent sheets and noticed the ingredient list includes two proprietary codes—“SN65” and “ST01 dispersant”—with no explanation of what they actually contain.
Many laundry sheets use PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) as their dissolvable base, and recent research questions whether PVA fully biodegrades in wastewater systems. I wanted clarification on whether these mystery ingredients contain any synthetic polymers.
I emailed support@fisroa.com multiple times over the past several weeks with no response—emails appear unopened.
Has anyone else had success getting ingredient information from Fisroa? Or found independent testing on these sheets?
Good luck. I stopped using dryer sheets because there’s so many brands that use opaque ingredients lists that try to hide the plastics. So frustrating that they market as “environmentally friendly.” I’m sure they’re more eco-friendly than the giant plastic jugs filled with liquid detergent, but nothing really beats simple powdered laundry detergent in a recyclable container.
