misfit shine knockoff?

Can’t find any info on this thing, what gives?

Try this website: http://www.fitmotiontracker.com/

THERE…ARE…FOUR…LIGHTS!

^^X^^

Can’t find one review on the tracker itself or the app it uses… It’s like no one has ever bought this before?

There are several reviews on Amazon.com, but only one really gives an in-depth review. The others are more like “I can’t wait to see if it works! FIVE STARS!”

This tracker looks like absolute crap. It’s so obviously one of “those” devices to everyone around you who sees it. I wish the Jawbone UP designers would loan out their talents to other companies and show them how to design a fitness band that blends in with other fashion accessories and doesn’t announce itself as a gadget. This thing even looks like a watch with no watch face. In other words, pointless.

Those are called “shill reviews,” and a safe indicator that these Pyle products live up to their name. The Shine isn’t great, so these knock-offs won’t shine either.

Check out the android app - Screenshots look similar to misfit’s, and ridiculous permissions.

Yes, clearly a Misfit Shine knock-off. I bought a Fitbit knockoff once and was so incredibly disappointed that I brought it back in a day.

I know nothing about this product, it looks like a Misfit Shine clone.

I am familiar with the form factor though.

Actually, I have a Misfit Flash (like a plastic Shine) and I love it. BTW it IS a watch, tracks sleep, steps, calories, waterproof and 4 month battery life. I know it’s just a wearable pedometer, but as for design, it’s understated and unobtrusive unlike all the other gadgets. I’ve actually gotten compliments from people who thought it was a watch and not an ugly tracker.

Again, I know nothing about the electronics in this product, but its physical form is great, like the Misfit products.

This is considerably larger than the Misfit Shine.

The Shine is 27.5 x 3.3 x 27.5 mm.

I have the Misfit flash and love it. It’s one of the few tracking units that can tag my cycling different from running and other activities. It is the plastic version of the shine but also is more secure than the shine in the band or clip. The android app is slightly behind the iPhone version.

Is the band made from the same material as the FitBit band?
