In the features it states that it has an “indicator light”. I have never seen anything like this on my filters. While this could be an updated version, mine are in the exact same box as this one is.
After looking into it, it seems the indicator light is a feature of some refrigerators, not the filter.
We use these and yes, the indicator light is on the refrigerator.
