Had one of these for our husky. Still took a decent amount of time because husky, but this made it super easy since the button allows you to get all of the sheddings at once.
We have one of these and it works well for our cat Topanga, who has never taken to any other brushes. Although it takes a fair amount of time, even w/ just a cat, b/c it’s a small space that fills up quickly. Our other cat Corey is fine w/ it but he’s okay w/ any brush.
our anatolian shepherd dog blows his coat 3 times a year…we use one of these on him in the county park out behind our house…our rationale is the squir-jells then use the fur to line their dorm rooms…my youngest daughter uses it on the dog while watching tv, but fails to pick up the fur about 50% of the time…our short haired cats tolerate it…our maine coon cat hates it…the anatolian became an akc champeen when i was showing him and using the furminator…

Until somone invents a toy that my pets can use to remove fur by themselves, this is the best de-sheddar out there.
With other designs, the interruption to clean the tool is the task killer. My golden retriever notices the pause and thinks ‘oh, we’re done, on to another game’. But I can drop the fur ball with one hand in one second with FURminator.
we don’t have a robotic cleaner…we still have 2 children at home…when poncho starts to blow his coar, we easily get enough fur every day to construct a pomeranian or some other yappy dog…poncho is from full circle farms…
