To play Rabbithole by The Atlantic, answer a chain of seven daily trivia questions where each correct answer becomes part of the next question.

New puzzles Monday through Friday, the :rabbit_face: takes the weekends off. :wink:

Game Rules

  • The Chain: The game starts with a single question inspired by an article. The answer to each question is woven directly into the setup of the next one.

  • Increasing Difficulty: Questions get harder as you move deeper into the “rabbit hole”.

  • Length: Each daily game consists of seven questions.

  • Scoring: You can earn up to 21 points total (3 points max per question):

    • 3 Points: Answer correctly on your own without any help.
    • 2 Points: Use a text hint (drops the question’s maximum value to 2).
    • 1 Point: Choose from three multiple-choice options (drops the value to 1).

Hmmm… I guess I’m not up on Trivia stuff.
Asking questions about some cartoon thing…
It would be just guessing.

It’s kind of skewed toward pop culture, but the first question isn’t indicative of the whole puzzle. The first answer incorporates itself into the next question as it “goes down the rabbithole”. So, the first question could be about a cartoon but the next question (containing the previous answer) is typically about a whole different topic. :wink:
