Is the holding tank refrigerated or at least insulated so the ice doesn’t melt as fast as it’s made?
Does this come with at least one filter? I see other retailers mention it includes 4 filters, but those also include the side tank.
Adding on $130 for the side tank and filters, not really saving much and getting refurbished instead of new.
The tank is not refrigerated and will eventually melt back into the water well.
I had an Opal 2.0 with a side tank, filters and regular cleaning and it stopped working correctly after 2 years and 4 months. It would make ice, but would melt almost immediately. Of course, out of warranty, so there was nothing I could do but trash it.
