Want, but can’t make up my mind because I nail 90% of my projects…. Hmmm

I guess this could be for the other 10% that you screw up

I’m just a garage hobbyist, so this is only a simple opinion:

I would recommend saving up the extra $10-25 and getting a good Milescraft, Kreg, or other pocket hole joinery kit. I started with this (got it as a gift), and wondered for ages why I had so many inaccuracies, blowouts, and such difficulty with alignment. Got myself a Kreg (the older model, while it was discounted), and basically I was doing fine all along - It was just inferior equipment.

Sometimes budget gear is easily worth as much as the what the “big boys” have, but this is NOT one of those, from my experience. Even a cheap Kreg is going to generally do better.
