Bought these at the last sale. Meh. Clever design, theoretically. Quite easy to adjust to length (X-acto knife worked nicely.) Chrome finish is wearing thin on one belt after just a few months of use. Most importantly, the belt is largely cosmetic. Can’t really cinch it tight; ratcheting mechanism lets go too easily. OK for weekday use, but if I want to put a Leatherman on my belt or similar, I get one of my old belts.
I’ve had two of these belts for about two years and they are still holding up nicely. I don’t wear them every day but at least twice a week and the only wear is on the buckle corners. I have around 8 ratchet belts (different colors and materials) and I wouldn’t every want to go back to a standard belt with holes.
This crap is made of plastic - stay away from it!!! Do not burn yourself like I did. Description is a pure cheat!
